Well its done, finished...complete. Thanks to Mark for finding a supplier in
the USA of original meters & to all contributors from this group.

I've posted a picture in my webspace of the finished transceiver with a
close-up of the offending meters in TX mode. Apologies in advance for the
quality of the picture, it was a struggle not getting reflections from the
flash. The clock is really not as dim as the picture shows & the speaker
grill is a smooth finish. Honest the radio looks brill 'in person'. Anyhow
