Thanks to Mark for finding a supplier in the USA of original meters & to all contributors from this group. I've posted a picture in my webspace of the finished transceiver with a close-up of the offending meters in TX mode. Apologies in advance for the quality of the picture, it was a struggle not getting reflections from the flash. The clock is really not as dim as the picture shows & the speaker grill is a smooth finish. Honest the radio looks brill 'in person'. Anyhow here's the link : http://homepage.ntlworld.com/peterkg...stalker_xx.jpg If anyone else gets stuck for meters for their CB restoration project here's a link to the excellent supplier Mark found : http://www.kenselectronics.com/lists/meters.htm cheers all, pgCam..... |
