Sorry, is there an issue with a G7 experimenting with antenna systems
on 10 metre? Last time I looked I was licensed on that band.

Some people can't control themselves. I got much the same when I was (and
still am) looking for an Avanti Moonraker magmount base (large size) or even
a gutter mount for it come to that. Now that is hard to find... ;o)

last time i looked the dv (27) was an 11metre aerial.

Not once you remove the tunable whip out.
That usually is enough to put them in the middle of 10m.

i presume that means the top of them is adjustable
for give or take 8 to 12inches ?
