I have a large tree outside my kitchen within viewing distance.
Up until a few weeks a ago I always saw a group of suirrels (grey) at the base of the tree.I assume their absence in the last weeks is due to hibernation? So when can I expect to see the creatures back? |

So, if their absence is due to the cold spell as opposed to some form of 'pest control', or a permanent relocation to a more favourable spot, I'd guess you'd notice a return to more 'normal' behaviour patterns when the weather warms up a little, hopefully very soon :-) |

The fact that they spend Autumn burying acorns is a big hint that they intend to be out and about through the winter gathering them up again to keep them going... Mike. -- |
