I don`t know if they were animal or vegetable, but they were in a deep, very
slow-moving, drainage ditch (possibly acidic) and looked like they were boiling to the surface on a sunny day, forming small, dense drifts. I thought they might be algae blooms, but as they appeared to be moving, my next guess was at daphnia. Any ideas, please? Kate |
