I've seen > >ewes who lost their eyes while lambing and unable to get up. > > Liar. > > BTW your kill filter seems to have stopped working again, or do you > only use it when you need to run out on an argument? lol In reply to the bit about the farmers fault for winter lambing - we put the rams in earlier this time round and had end of March lambing which is early for hereabouts - no trouble with the birds and didn't have to shoot any - They were more of a nuisance later in the year during the period when feeding young (blackbacks mainly) a neighbour lost a few lambs - Of course they kill lambs and the odd ewe even that has laid over in a bad spot but that is nature - and I find it very natural to shoot them - Don't do it for fun, just when neccessary. A gun and a pocketful of cartridges being too much like work to have to carry around - Mick |

He will not believe a word you say because it does not agree with his preconceived ideas. I doubt he would believe that corvids attack animals eyes if by some misfortune he had his own pecked out.
