Gwyddno

I was shown some photos last night of a beetle which had found its way
into our local pub. It was eventually trapped in a pint glass and
photographed. I can't remember the exact details - beetles look
fairly much alike to me anyway, I'm sorry to say - so I'm not going to
ask for an ID, just for advice on good websites to help us identify it
please. Any suggestions will be gratefully followed up.
