Default Pharmacists from POLAND

Does anyone of you work with a parmacist from Poland? What is your
opinion about such an individual - his professional skills, command of
English etc. What is a common "rumour" about Polish pharmacists working
in the UK? Are most of them young or rather experienced?
Could you explain to me, why do the chain pharmacies seek
employees in such countries like Poland? Perhaps the reason lays in the
fact they are offered lower salaries? Is there a shortage of native
professionals? Do you find your position in the local job market
endangered due to the influx of Polish pharmacists? Actually, I should
first ask if you observe such influx?

A hospital pharmacy that I occasionally visit to collect medicines for
patients has employed for many years a pharmacist originally from Poland.
She is very professional , fully competent, speaks excellent English and in
no way less able than 'native English' pharmacists. No problem.
