Squiggles

Hello,

I was under the impression that clonazepam,
unlike the other benzodiazepines should
be taken every day -- that is my prescription;
but my friend just showed me his pill bottle
which says "as needed". I can understand that
Xanax may be prescribed as such, but I thought
that clonazepam would be dangerous to skip and
start, due to the inter-dose withdrawal possibility.

Are there different conditions for which daily
and "as needed" prescriptions apply?
