1 year postgraduate course in nursing

Is there a fast track 1 year postgraduate course innursing?

Not as far as I know because of meeting the requirements for entry to the
register plus gaining the academic requirements for a post-registration
academic award, but http://www.nmas.ac.uk/courses.html lists a Postgraduate
Diploma in Mental Health Nursing at the University of Surrey but the
programme length isn't stated. You could search the UCAS web site and also
ask the NMC as they would have given approval if such a scheme exists. Do
you have a degree in a non-health related subject and want to use that to
access a nursing programme, or are you already registered as a nurse in one
of the branches but now want to access another branch?

there are 2 and 2 1/2 year post-graduate entry pre-registration
programmes, often with specific requirements about the type of first
degree held ... the courses at Sheffield cited by the ther reply are
examples of this, however i am unsure whether these courses are still
vaild as Pre-reg contract in South Yorkshire is now with Hallam
University ...
