Software Engineer - PMP

Job Description:

Are you a DIGITAL MEDIA fan? Does the opportunity to be a part of
cutting edge media products such as PORTABLE MEDIA PLAYERS (PMP)
excite you? Are you jazzed about providing users with an awesome
first experience that will introduce them to these new
technologies?

As a Software Design Engineer you will be responsible for the
design and implementation of Portable Media Player middleware and
applications.

The successful candidate should have 5+ years of software
development experience using C/C++ in WinCE and/or Linux
environments. You should be self-motivated, and be willing to
learn new technologies. Experience with Direct Show, WM9, MPEG2,
DVR/PVR, streaming media technologies is highly desired. The
position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer
Science, or equivalent technical experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
BSCS or equivalent
5+ years Win32-based software application experience, strong
C/C++ skills, familiarity with COM, MFC
3+ years Microsoft Windows CE and Visual Studio experience
Experience in PMP (or related) software middleware and
applications
Understanding of device hardware
Make critical technology and design decisions key to project
success
Ability to work well in small team environment

What Will Give You an Edge:
Experience developing media applications with DirectShow,
Windows Media, etc.
Knowledge of A/V codecs and file formats
