Job Functions: Service/Skilled - Food & Nutritional Services -
Position Summary:Plans, directs and coordinates the activities of
food production employees. Responsible for the purchasing and
receiving of food and supplies, as well as monitoring the
inventory. Maintains food production records/cost indicators.
Plans and costs menus.Typical Knowledge and SkillsKnowledge of
HACCP. Knowledge of inventory management systems. Requires
extensive experience in a management role in food
service/contract management. Ability to manage managers. Role
typically resides in larger accounts/units where it has
responsibility for a significant portion of operations. Role has
substantial autonomy and opportunity for independent decision
making in matters relating to operations.Typical EducationHigh
school diplomaTypical Related Experience4-6 yearsRequired Degree
/ CertificationN/A 600 bed acute care facility in Northern VA.
Experienced Production Manager.
