Job Functions: Hospitality/Tourism - Position Summary:Manages all
catered events. Hires, schedules, and trains catering staff.
Works with clients/customers to arrange and follow through on all
catering details and to ensure all special requests are met.
Directs setup for events. Responsible for pricing, billing and
resolving customer complaints. Develops menu/costing.Typical
Knowledge and SkillsRequires some experience in a management role
in food service/contract management. Role may reside in
accounts/units of various sizes. Typically reports to GM or Ops
Manager rather than to another manager level. Receives some
coaching/counseling from immediate supervisor, but has more
autonomy and opportunity for independent decision making.Typical
EducationHigh school diplomaTypical Related Experience2-4
yearsRequired Degree / CertificationN/A Catholic co-ed college in
Philadelphia, PA suburbs. High-end, high profile Catering.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Must be
organized and able to work with high level and Presidential
catering. Position is also responsible for the student restaurant.
