Job Functions: Service/Skilled - Food & Nutritional Services -
Position Summary:Plans, directs and coordinates the activities of
food production employees. Responsible for the purchasing and
receiving of food and supplies, as well as monitoring the
inventory. Maintains food production records/cost indicators.
Plans and costs menus.Typical Knowledge and SkillsKnowledge of
HACCP. Entry level manager role. Requires some related experience
in food service/contract management, but little/no experience in
a management role. Typically has fewer direct reports. Role may
reside in a smaller account/unit where it is the only management
position or in a larger account/unit where there are multiple
management levels. May report to GM in smaller accounts, to Ops
Manager in larger accounts, or potentially to another manager
level. Typically receives more direct coaching/counseling from
immediate supervisor and has less autonomy and opportunity for
independent decision making.Typical EducationHigh school
diplomaTypical Related Experience0-2 yearsRequired Degree /
CertificationN/A 110 bed sunstance abue rehab facility. Will
supervise a staff of 15. Must have kitchen management experience.
