The closest daytime lightning photos I can find to the one under discussion are towards the bottom of the following web page and there are some interesting comments too (e.g. 58 failed attempts for two successful ones!): http://www.geologywales.co.uk/storms/summer05a.htm .... and the two shown _certainly_ look more realistic than the one in dispute. But I am no expert on weather photography so I'll leave it to others to continue the discussion, which I'll follow with interest! -- Dave Fareham |
