It's been hissing it down in Wallingford, Oxon for large chunks of the
day. Especially this morning when it was torrential.

No thunder though

Been lovely and sunny doon 'ere in Devon so apart from the shock that it has
been a nice day, there's not much to report weatherwise.

Currently at 17:10, 20.4C, RH 60%, DP 12.4C, 1001.9 mb (R), Wind 9 mph SSW.

Wasn't blasé about the rain I drove through heading south on the M11 at
about 12:30pm... 20mph felt too fast. Like driving through a waterfall. Some
magnificent cloudscapes when I got out from under it though!

A few claps of thunder this afternoon around 3pm. Short heavy showers,
more like April.

Showers today with thunder but nothing special!

Another 9.2mm of rainfall making it 101.9mm now for the month just need
another 14mm to record the wettest July on record and we will probably
get that on Friday.

Sunshine totals are a joke with less than 50 hours after 17 days, still
needing another 50 hours to avoid the dullest July on record.

Mean is 14.3c, lowest since 1998.

Roll on April
