Default 26C in Canterbury?

I've just checked my station to see how much rain we had this morning in
Canterbury (9.9mm) and noticed that the temperature is reading 25.9C (at
1440Z). Seems a bit high - can anyone confirm that?

Gatwick and Charlwood were both reading 25°C earlier so it seems feasible.

Jon.

Looking at www.weatherbonk.co.uk, some of the personal weather stations,
zoomed in on Kent:

Hales Place, Kent 25.9C (is this your station?)
Wincheap, Kent 24.1C
Tilmanstone 25.5C

Looks like Kent is the hotspot today, 13C in Brum :-(

Nope. Temperature just about peaking now at 27C. First 80F+ day of the
year. The dewpoint was also very high - up to 21C at 15Z, but has since
dropped back to 17C.

Darren caught this more a week back IIRC. Just a few days out, not
bad. Hit the change of the phase just right. WDTM!
