I have been to Elixir, Rio's & Maltings all 3 are friendly but not very
celubrius!

Elixir is small but the most (IMO) Naturist friendly of the one's I've been
to. The relaxtion seating is bar stools which isn't very relaxing but the
best use of the space and the Massages are unhurried & relaxing.

Maltings facilities are larger with more relaxtion area's including sofa's &
comfy chairs and does have a wide Naturist following in that area! I have
only been once for a massage and was puzzled to select the masseuse on their
dimensions rather than skill & experience. I also felt uneasy to use the
facilities as with both Elixir & Rio's the use of facilities was quite
clearly included in the massage price, and to find the entry prices wasn't
very clear.

Rio's has a swinging feel to it(IMO)?! not my reasons for going to a
Naturist Spa but on the afternoon I went, there was a couple of gentlemen
making use of the rare naturist facilities in London whilst on business
trips with a spare day to themselves, who appeared to be of the same mind as
me, although being the afternoon maybe it hadn't warmed up yet. It also has
an outside area to sunbathe, the only other spooky bit for me was it was
clothing optional esp. for staff rather than totally Naturist.

As for Bristol Gardens in Brighton I have yet to go there but hope to go
there with my wife (once encouraged) and the website looks quite luxurious
and the most committed naturist spa of the 4 and being in Brighton you have
a choice of beaches, which we've yet to visit.

hope this of help Ric blondie64

I live reasonably near to Elixir, so would be interested to hear of the
experiences of anyone else who has been there as i might then give it a try
(its website looks like it is Naturist but i would like to make sure it is
before going there) Alistair.

Hi Alistair

I have been to Elixir 3 times basically for massages, but you get free use of
all facilities within the price.
As for its naturist credentials only the receptionist (& cleaner if you
enter at opening time) are clothed, the masseuses walk around the reception
area in towels around their waists but there is an acception everyone is
clotheless, as when I first made a enquiry I had assumed it was withinm a
large health club and the pool may require costumes, but was put quite clear
that costumes were not an option as it was a Naturist Centre.
On first visit I was shown around and shown the changing room, but found it
(like everyone else) easier to change next to the lockers.
I have been 3 times and had a different masseuse everytime but if I was to
go again I would ask for Gabby, as a personal preference based on the
massage and nothing else.
I have tried to pick Spa's for there closenest to railway lines and with the
3 I've used they fit very well into that criteria.

hope you get feedback from others and enjoy.
