Thirty six hours of non-stop rain isn't funny.

So I saw from the news. I can't what it must be like to be flooded out, must
be awful.

Here in Suffolk we've missed the rain completly and had warm dry weather
with plenty of sun for the last few of days.

We are up the side of the valley, so its not a problem but some
riverside properties are under threat, some further down steam are
under water.

I blame the Government. Since Gordon Brown took over we have had 100%
Scottish weather in England. No wonder the ones with any sense leave.

On the contrary, here in East Anglia at least the weather has improved
considerably since Gordon Brown took over.

A giraffe would be an excellent mode of transport in some places at
the moment!

Actually the fault lies with the Met Office. They have cancelled summer this
year in order to mitigate the effects of Global Warming.

AFAIAC July has been both hot and humid (but nothing like as wet as June
was). I'd have put the air-conditioning on if I'd had any.

I did put the heating on for a couple of days in May though (which *was*
cold).

David.
