Makes sense that the BB production team would have been prepared for
such a thing and got the translators in (just as they have).

Also makes sense that BB would ask them not to (just as they have).

These are the bits that I think are OTT:

A spokesman for the Welsh Language Society said: "Are we moving towards
a state where 'big brother' is watching over us and deciding what
language we can and cannot speak?"

(As if anyone were suggesting such a thing. It may be popular but it's
only reality TV - it doesn't reflect real life... if it did, there's be
a couple of 'ordinary' people in the mix.)

and

"We are especially disappointed that S4C has chosen to broadcast this
show, given that the whole point of S4C is to broadcast and promote the
Welsh," said the spokesman.

(Maybe they ought to ask the viewers who can't get an alternative
Channel 4 what *they* think!)

Bloody right! My sentiments entirely, I hate being held captive by
soddin' folk dancing when there's something half decent on four! They
even take the racing off sometimes on a Saturday to show a Rugby match
that's already being shown on another channel...Where's the logic in that?
