Hey,
I got this car TOYOTA COROLLA '88 model (only 80K miles on it) and I had someone scoped my engine. At first it seemed an idle problem, since the car vibrates a lot when stopped at stoplights, for example. So, this mecanic had come up with the following: The final diagnostic was a cylinder problem, the valve it's either bent or burnt. It seems that it needs a new Head gasket set that costs about 280$ new and plus labor 500$, that goes up to a 800$ at least. Does someone know how to rebuilt an engine, let's just say for much better deal, since I cannot afford to give away that much. IS this the real problem? Could it be something else? Thanx. |
