Can anyone help with this? Bike breakers in the UK have not been able to.
New part is over £300. My options are 1) secondhand part or 2) break the bike for spares. I am interested in replies from anyone on either option. Cheers Craig PS. If replying by email, please amend the address to remove the anti-spam bits. |

Thanks
I have been trying to get through to them but the phone is always engaged. I'll send a fax tonight. Cheers Craig |

Called Boyer Bransden and no joy ;o(
Their ignition systems are only for bikes that already have contact breakers with a timing plate. Since my KZ1100 doesnot have a timimg plate because it is already contactless ignition they cannot help. So unless I can obtain a secondhand igniter, it looks like I will be breaking my KZ1100. Anyone interested in any bits? Thanks for all the help folks.
Dynatek probably make excellent ignition systems, but at $385, it is not far off the value of the whole bike! Thanks anyway as it may be an option (I really don't want to give Kawasaki the cash!!) I have sent an email to OldKawman and am awaiting a reply. Meanwhile, we are having a great summer (for once) and I am stuck driving a Vauxhall Astra (bugger!!!!!)
