MZ ETZ 125. Sat in the garage for 6 years. Everything is there. Engine had a rebuild, but I never got around to fitting it back together. What do you think it would go for? -- Drew.H, MIB#15 In the garage: MZ ETZ125, GS550MZ x 2 Departures: GSX1100FJ Arrivals: CBR1100XXX |

Its a proper bike this, not like the plastic rubbish of today. When my son crashed it, all that was needed was a couple of well placed kicks, the MZ only needed one. -- Drew.H, MIB#15 In the garage: MZ ETZ125, GS550MZ x 2 Departures: GSX1100FJ Arrivals: CBR1100XXX |

Break it, start everything at 99p Rear light may go for a fiver, instrument surrounds crack so if yours is good maybe £10, forks bend, front wheels get smacked, indicators smash, switches break, seats rip, discs warp, engines can be couriered, regulators stop working, speedo and tacho cables snap etc etc. Even if I just wanted the instrument surround I wouldn't buy the whole bike for £1 as the hassle of collecting it is too much but I may pay £10 for the bit I want. Either that or MOT it - probably worth £150 to £200 with a ticket; maybe £40 at the outside as is. -- Simon |

A sensible suggestion, but I read it too late. 160144744720 I'm now off to SPAM any MZ forums I can find. -- Drew.H, MIB#15 In the garage: MZ ETZ125, GS550MZ x 2 Departures: GSX1100FJ Arrivals: CBR1100XXX |
