All serviced and ready to go.
The ZZR, that is... I've even got round to repainting the panels that were scratched when it rolled off its stand last year. Tomorrow I shall give it a nice test run (in the pouring rain, according to Met Office). Then I'm going to make *damned* sure I've got European cover from the AA. :^) -- Nigel - No longer worse than Platypus WS* GHPOTHUF#24 APOSTLE#14 DLC#1 COFF#20 BOTAFOT#150 HYPO#0(KoTL) ZZR1100, Enfield 500 Curry House Racer "The Basmati Rice Burner", Honda GL1000K2 |

Mine started second go[1], so I kicked the tyres, squirted some lube on the chain and went for a bimble. It was gloriously sunny. I was a bit rusty to start off with but soon got into it. Oh, and I seem to have acquired your teddy bear as well. > > Then I'm going to make *damned* sure I've got European cover from the > AA. :^) Good idea. [1] I had connected the Optimate a few weeks ago so it would be nicely charged up when the tuit was obtained. -- Chris ZX-9R (in green, obviously) BOTAFOT#51 |

I'll leave it until the next valve service is due and see if it's got worse. If it has I'll do it then. I couldn't find a breaker with one in, and Mr Kawasaki wants 205 notes for one. -- Nigel - No longer worse than Platypus WS* GHPOTHUF#24 APOSTLE#14 DLC#1 COFF#20 BOTAFOT#150 HYPO#0(KoTL) ZZR1100, Enfield 500 Curry House Racer "The Basmati Rice Burner", Honda GL1000K2 |

That's not actually two outrageous, really, I reckon. Mind you, you might as well do it properly and send both cams off to be reground. Some stainless one piece valves, a 1200 kit and a race pipe should sort thinks out nicely. -- Champ GSX-R 1000, GPz 750 turbo, ZX7RR Endurance Racer x 2 GYASB#0 BotToS#2 BOTAFO(T|F)#35 WG*#1 DFV#8 Team UKRM Racing : www.team-ukrm.com |
