Even with the cans you'll get decent gains from a K&N filter and a
PC111.

I got what was alleged to be a decent map for mine off the guy who
sold me the full system. He claimed that he had his tested at 168 r/w
bhp but I still haven't had it dynoed for myself, that's waiting until
I finally get the time and the inclination to do some other bits and
pieces.

Ebay. I paid £575 and waited a long time for the carbon one to come
along. The titanium ones are more readily available

Swot I thought so I was watching Ebay for months until mine appeared.
The standards don't sound that bad you know. For standard cans they
surprised me by popping on the overrun which was nice.

First job for you should be to take the Y-piece off and repeatedly jam
a large screwdriver into it until the Cat falls out, it's a 30 minute
job. This cooled the system down for me (stopped my right thigh burning
in traffic) and made the standard cans sound a bit deeper too.
