So, the DR-Z being fubared [1], I pick up the new bike [2] on
Saturday. [1] Fixable but it will take a couple of weeks to sort it all out, what with life the universe and everything else. [2] Mint [3] 06 Z1000 with 6K on. Should be fun. [3] Silver actually. |

They're over-priced as new (or so I'm told) and depreciate like buggery from the new price - they're what - 7K+ new? This one, less than a year old, from a dealer, 4.6K and there's some further negotiation to be done when I pick it up - they won't go any lower on price but will haggle over a lid or somesuch. Apparently it was up for 5.0K last week but the rubbish weather is hitting bike sales. |
