Not on the A14 near Cambridge this afternoon they don't always win. After
filtering through a couple of miles of near stationary traffic I got to the
front and there was a 4WD on it's side in the outside lane.

In the winter months up in Tahoe it seems the *only* vehicles you see
crashed in the snowbanks and/or on their sides are the 4WDs.

As they say, 4WD lets you get further before you get stuck.

and a 6X6 will go even FURTHER with MORE in the back. Heck you carry enough
stuff to set up camp for the rest of winter comfortably...
