A bottle of vinegar in the washing machine on an empty cycle will do wonders for limescale. -- Cab :^) - I'm dyslex-spic apparently GSX 1400 - For Sale http://www.rosbif.org/forsale.html UKRMMA#10 (KOTL), IbW#015, BoB#4, POTM#3, SKA#1 email addy : ukrm_dot_cab_at_rosbif_dot_org UKRM Firefox Extension: http://www.rosbif.org/ukrm/ukrm.xpi The gingeometer: http://www.rosbif.org/ukrm/gingeometer/ |

Maybe French vinegar is stronger than English vinegar? -- Cab :^) - I'm dyslex-spic apparently GSX 1400 - For Sale http://www.rosbif.org/forsale.html UKRMMA#10 (KOTL), IbW#015, BoB#4, POTM#3, SKA#1 email addy : ukrm_dot_cab_at_rosbif_dot_org UKRM Firefox Extension: http://www.rosbif.org/ukrm/ukrm.xpi The gingeometer: http://www.rosbif.org/ukrm/gingeometer/ |

Maybe French vinegar is stronger than English > vinegar? Vinegar, coke etc work ok on thin layers of soft limescale, but are pretty crap at tackling a few months worth of thick, hard limescale (we've got very hard water here). Oust otoh gets rid of it with a single dose, no matter how much limescale there is. Stick your shower head in the kettle afterwards & it does that too. -- Krusty www.MuddyStuff.co.uk Off-Road Classifieds '02 MV Senna '03 Tigtona 955i '96 Tiger '79 Fantic Hiro 250 |
