Too true (though to be honest I can't recall if it was Bike). Around
1981-82 IIRC.

That one got me good and proper... "they come in packets of three"... I
still didn't get it.

Either Bike or Perf Bike, the only 2 I ever read.

With a 'ribbed' tread pattern for the front & 'knobblies' for the rear ISTR,
with a filling of a 'frothy white' substance which made punctures impossible
:-)

My mate was an apprentice at the local bike shop around the time, some knob
head (pun) customer actually enquired when they'd be available.
