It was great at everything, which made it boring in the end. Mine was ultra reliable, but I think it was an exception. They'll do 139mph and no more, but they'll do that for 200 miles in total comfort between fuel stops. I didn't have the hard luggage but a huge Givi topbox instead, which was more than enough for me. I fitted a pair of Remus race cans and it sounded like the devil was riding into town. Because they're torque-tastic they wheelie a lot and in-line fours can't catch you when you're blatting up the midi pyrenees. Overall a superb general use bike but you can't be much of a hooligan on it. -- Ash UKRMFBC#8 HMC#5 YZF-R1 2006 |
