You mean, like the last bike I bought that still had a warranty on it, which I sold because I was getting fed up with the repairs? -- Message posted via http://www.motorcyclekb.com |

I don't recall that. Was it actually a brand new bike, or just new to you? |

BMW GS Adventure, bought slightly less than a year old with 10k on the clock, still under BMW warranty and with full service history etc blah blah. Sold it last year when it was just out of warranty after having to visit the BMW dealership in Chur three times within two weeks for various issues. And yes, I pointed out all the issues that I had had fixed to the person who bought it off me instead of just saying "BMW says it's OK" like some other people. Reportedly he's very happy with the bike... Part of the problem seems to be the mileage I do as I seem to be doing the national average mileage in a little more of a month, and the fact that due to various ailments and ergonomics issues, there are only a handful of bikes which I can ride for that kind of distance, and most of them don't seem to be very happy doing that kind of mileage, either. -- Message posted via http://www.motorcyclekb.com |
