I wrote to my MP about the "Off Road Motorcycles Bill" presented by some twat (Graham Stringer iirc) trying to stop mini-moto abuse. This bill would have cost me thousands if it had gone through (all bikes must be registered, insured etc etc). Thankfully they have decided to scrap the bill. Sometimes people power works write to your MP about it too, you may even get a nice letter back like I did. -- XJ600S |

So what the petition website is a mod which automagically polls your local MP with snailmail as well? That would work. -- Hog '03 ST4S '96 Bastard12 '89 R100RS '81 XS650 '78 RD400 |

That would work. It rather depends on your MP. Mine turns out to have an orbit much further out than even me and writing to him was most definitely *not* a good idea. I seem to have dropped off his mailing list though which is a bonus. -- steve auvache A Bloo one with built in safety features |
