They any good? I need some new leathers by the 19th May, and I don't
think made-to-measure anything would be ready in time.

firstly, I don't wear them all the time - I bought them 4-5 years ago
and have probably worn them maybe 40-50 times, and I haven't crashed
in them, but :

pros:

comfortable
fairly cheap
seem fairly well made
came with gel armour and a back protector thing (which I've used
precisely once)
it's a two piece, and zips together well, though the same suit is
available as a one piece

cons:
fairly gash looking red/white/black rip-off of a late 90s Dainese
design
no external pockets whatsoever - and just two small internal pockets
in the jacket - not too big a problem on the track, or weekend
hooning, but a pain touring.
sometimes the knee armour goes funny and you have to fiddle with it to
get it back into shape
the hip armour was hideously uncomfortable, so I removed it.

do I regret buying them? No, they've been OK - I think I've got my
299ukp's worth

would I buy another set: No, I'd pay the extra for a made-to-measure
one piece.

Cheers. I've got a couple of phone calls to make, and if everyone says
"no chance" I'll probably pop down to HG and make do for this summer.

I need a new set cos my current two-piece doesn't fit any more, and the
stitching is going in a few places as well.
