Honda used to make claims of 270mpg IIRC for the C70 around the early
80s. The one I bought one of my exs certainly acheived closer to 250mpg,
when she was using it to travel between London and Bedford on a daily
basis.

Very small, but she still only filled it every 3 weeks or so when she
was using it daily on a 10 mile round trip.
