I really don't see any difference from when I was a kid. I wanted the 14 (or however many) hole Dr Martin Boots, the Levi jeans, the Claude Butler bike and all the rest of it absolutely regardless of my parents ability, or will, to pay for the lifestyle/possessions that I wated. OK, advertising is more sophisticated but I don't think Children are any different; mine are as big a pain as I was. |
