I am wondering if any one has any feedback regarding the above two bikes.
Got a Blackbird at the minute need to change for something that I can commute to London on and still ride and enjoy at the weekend? -- Remove Nospam to reply |

I've not ridden the R1100RT, but as a 'spirited' Pan rider I can testify that they commute very well and can be great fun to ride, just for the pleasure of it. As Simes says, the ABS version is probably a good idea. If you haven't got ABS you just need to plan ahead a bit more. It also returns an average of 45mpg - although I have have got down in the low 30s on occassions. Try and get a test ride on both bikes and see which suits. -- Stritchy CX1100 'Ermintrude' BPoD (tm Pip) HOC#14808 COFF#23 MiB#17 two#52 BOTAFOT#129 BOTAFOF#44 BREast#4 |
