Just in case there's anyone out there who wants to attend but doesn't know
where or when.

Contrary to our prervious discussion, I might actually make it if I get
back from London at a reasonable hour. Assuming the address on the V5 is
accurate.

Crash space or bring my upmarket tent?

Plenty of floor space. If you absolutely must rag-shed it, I can sling one
of ours up in the garden. I'd look at the weather forecast before choosing
this option IIWY.

I plan to be there.

I may turn up early with towel and shower cap, with a request to make
use of your facilities.

Weirdly, I've been pulled across to Glos Acute tomorrow.

Don't ask.

If I manage to finish up at a reasonable time (by no means a given), I
could certainly swing past your place on the way home, for a single jar
and a laugh.

If this doesn't cause you undue stress, SMS me tomorrow, after midday.

The floor is perfectly adequate, the tent was a fallback. I'm on the
9.30pm train out of Paddington so it will be a late entrance, assuming
I'm still fit.

So how much should I worry when an automatic transmission seems to

Hey ho, I shall attempt it anyway.

You going down the M5? No idea what time I'm leaving yet as the kids
are still on their way back from the holiday with their dad. If you
see a strange pink beast at the side of the road, feel free to point

I'm looking at routes just now, is the M5 under water anywhere?

Your box may just need a good lubing (fnar), level?.
I've drained the auto fluid and filled with fresh on a couple of slightly
dodgy slushboxes to good effect. Some modern ones are sealed, some require
servicing.

Excuse me?

ITYF that to "Nige something out" implies the flogging of
heavily-disguised shoddy goods. Whereas, the delectable Snowy's
bathwater can probably cure scrofula. At least.

<thinks>

You're going to flog some of *your* bathwater, aren't you? You *sick*
puppy.

You'll never get away with it.

I mean, there's the *smell*...

Who? Oh, right.

It seemed like everybody had a good evening too - highlights included Champ
being introduced to his Ideal Woman. Thanks to 'iggins for the go in the
red SAAB. As I mentioned at the time, a touch steady, and in many ways
reminiscent of a rubber-mounted sofa, but enjoyable to punt around, and
never got out of shape. I trust the enthusiasm-and-incompetence treatment
didn't wear too badly on your nerves.

Someone has abandoned a razor in the bathroom, and a little plastic bottle
of some spooge-like jollop. Owners form an orderly queue.
