Default Paging Pip

Umm...

Listen, mate. We're mates, right? I love you like a brother. Mate.

Umm...

Any chance we could take a trundle (not too far, I think) this weekend
to collect a bike with that lovely trailer of yours?

"What bike?" I hear you say.

Yellow, it is...

I wonder how I'm going to break the news to Mrs WUN?

Dunno, but that's the wrong question.

The *real* question is: "is it tax-deductible?"

Is that based on date of *manufacture* rather than registration?

Registration, but it would have been built in the same year.

Are you certain? Vehicles in the 70s were notorious for hanging around
warehouses, factories and showrooms before being registered. Might be
worth making enquiries if it'll give it exempt status.

Indeed. A lot of vehicles registered in the first half of 1973 do have
tax-exempt status because of this.

It is something wot I do, innit. And I owe you, don't forget. And I
might, with a following wind, be able to combine this with another
motorcycle removal expedition. Good all round.

You are not doing him any favours you know. I doubt he has even disposed of
the other yellow peril yet.

If it's the bike I'm thinking of it'll be quite at home on a trailer.
