If you're looking for an easy addition to your quotas, this is the route I'll be taking to the EOSM, unless anyone has any better suggestions: A404 to High Wycombe A4010 to Aylesbury A413 towards Towcester A43 to Towcester A5 to Hinckley A447 via Ibstock to A511 A511 to Woodville A514 to Derby A6 to Duffield B5023 then B5024 towards Cross o the Hands A517 to Hulland Ward -- ogden, b12, speaking only for himself and certainly not for his jumped up gestapo of an employer. |

So, A447...and just a little bit of A511 (there may or may not be gatsos on this stretch, but think you're safe). Join the B587 just the other side of the M42. (following signs for Melbourne, then Derby) > A514 to Derby Then take the faster and non Gatso-free A50 A38 (north, signposted Derby) The take the first exit after the A52 roundabout (it's about 6 or 7 miles after you get onto the A38, the sliproad being about 1/4 mile after the second roundabout you come to) Here - http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.sr...337680&z=5&sv= 435000,335000&st=4&ar=Y&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=ne wsearch.srf Follow the signs for Keddleston, then Hulland. The pub will be the first building you come to as you enter Hulland, enjoy the ride, the roads (other than A50/A38) are all good fun. |
