Dear KotL:
I recently changed job, moving from the noble, selfless, public-spirited enterprise of the NHS, into the sordid world of commerce. Not that I've discovered that much difference ... My new employers provide a new car with new job (along with paying for me to move house), and the company insurance doesn't appear to cover bikes. Further, driving said vehicle around yesterday in pissing rain and howling winds, I realised that, sometimes, c*rs have their advantages. Admitting the heresy of these words, I confess that I was never worthy to have a two# to begin with, and can never aspire to be a RTB. <slinks off into corner> -- PacMan COFF#21 ex-two#43 VFR 750 "I may not practice what I preach, but God forbid I should preach what I practice" - G K Chesterton |
