I'm after a treadmill. Must be powered and have power lift facility.
Anything up to about 16km/h would be fine. My ankles and knees are pretty bolloxed so runnig on concrete is a no no these days, and this is the best way I've found to keep the old ticker in shape. I can't abide the SO's elliptical trainer. That machine is truly a medieval torture instrument for anyone with external wedding furniture. Can collect and (meagre) cash waiting. There must be someone out there who's bought one of these after xmas and used it a few times and now it's a glorified coatstand taking up valuable space. Cheers, JB |

I've always fancied one that doesn't need power but by which one can actually *generate* power - to charge a battery, power a telly, mp3 player or whatever. I can't get my head round running on the spot using both electrical and metabolic energy to go nowhere - but obviously lots of people do see the point, so I guess ebay is the first place I'd go. No, on second thoughts I'd look at my local freecyle/realcycle group (http://www.freecycle.org/ or http://www.realcycle.co.uk/) as they often seem to appear there; for some strange reason.
