They can explode like a bomb in case of fire.
A fireman lost his leg (or arm ?) once in such a case, near Lyon, France.

I thank you sir, you've brightened up a miserable week.

I didn't know what a GPL vehicle was until you just gave a hint[1].

Something to do with fuel-air explosives, then?

[1] I was hoping someone would ask, so I could reply, "I don't know, let's
ask our resident Frenchman. Cab?"

I discovered a Denner hidden away on the top level of the central
shops last month (I'd only ever used the Migros and Co-op before).
Decent wine (Seth Effrican) @ Fr2,95 (14%) and Fr3,95 (12.5%) a bottle.
I can't drink Swiss wine -- it's far too young and acidic.

Not all of it. Much of the white, particularly stuff like Fendant, I
would agree is limp and acidic at the same time, but there are some
excellent red Dôles de Valais to be had, especially if you visit the
producing towns on the Northern slopes of the valley. Sadly most of is
it kept for the locals - you can still get the good stuff in, say,
Zermatt or Saas Fee, but even just a couple of hours drive away it's
much more difficult to find. I've never once seen it outside of CH.

Ah, I don't drink much red wine nowadays. I find it (especially
the more pedestrian Swiss reds) too laxative... (There must be something
akin to phenolphthalein in red wine, as witnessed by the colour change if
you sprinkle a little pinch of bicarb-soda into a glass.)

Yes, Denner do stock some nice strong reds. I have one under my office
and for getting some BBQ compatible reds its the shop of choice. They
stock some nice teeth-staining aussie wines as well.

I do like the Swiss Fendant though, with a fondue, and theres a few
other whites I've tried whos names escape me now. Swiss reds though,
I've found a few that I like but its not often.
