Do folks have good experience of the company and the product? This IBM R32
only has 256MB and they are offering 1024MB for £46 which seems cheap and should stop all this annoying disc caching. -- Hog '03 ST4S '96 Bastard12 '89 R100RS '81 XS650 '78 RD400 |

Had a 512Mb stick in a laptop for 3 years, died one day, phoned them up, new one on my doorstep the following morning. -- Dan White (dan@finex666.org.uk) Perform an exorcism when replying. |

Yep, I had similar experiences with them, although I had misplaced the receipt so they asked me to send in the old sticks. Replaced without a quibble within three days or so. I usually buy their memory because it just works, the only reason the machine I'm typing this on has some overclocker-type memory in it is because I got a very good deal on it. -- Morini Corsaro 125 | CB450K4 | XL250 Motosport x2 | 900SSD | K1100LT Triumph T-Bird chop | CB400/4 BOTAFOF #33 TWA#10 The UKRM FAQ: http://www.ukrm.net/faq/index.html "Je profite du paysage" - Joe Bar |

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "Hog" <hogSPAM@freenetCHIPS.co.uk> saying something like: >Do folks have good experience of the company and the product? This IBM R32 >only has 256MB and they are offering 1024MB for £46 which seems cheap and >should stop all this annoying disc caching. I've been using Crucial (Micron, afaik) for the past few memory purchases and have no complaints at all. Much better to use them and be sure than save a couple of quid on uncertain stuff. Kingston are another brand that have been good for me - perhaps they use Micron too. -- Dave GS850x2 XS650 SE6a Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the river cleaned out in a day. |
