Back in '99 IIRC there was a trike at national Alfa day. It had a 2l straight four Alfa engine mated direct to the standard transaxle with box. Gear lever stuck out the left hand side at about 45deg. A bloke by the name of Bear (not the Bastard one) built a BSAustin - swinging-arm A10 frame, Austin 1100 engine (when I saw it, the gear lever was a pair of mole-grips), and, to set the whole ensemble off, a Bantam petrol tank.
