We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "Simon Wilson" <siwilson@NOSPAM.hotmail.com> saying something like: >As subject really. I've got a load of rusty old bits to clean up and >paint. Make one easily enough from a 200L oil drum. -- Dave GS850x2 XS650 SE6a Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the river cleaned out in a day. |

Grimley, I have to ask - is there *anything* that you wouldn't make in your shed from a collection of oil drums, bicycle parts and old electric motors? -- Champ ZX10R GPz750turbo neal at champ dot org dot uk |

I must admit, I did eye up the gas barbeque, and wondered if that could be put to a dual purpose. I gave up that thought when I couldn't promise non-gritty burgers. -- /Simon |

Apart from moulded bits, most of the really useful things are made of pieces of angle, bar, tube, box or sheet and welded/riveted/glued together; so no, there's almost nothing that can't be made from the contents of my shed/workshop. >A profit. Oi! I'll have you know the contents of my shed are profit neutral - in that the majority of it is job surplus that's already earned me a profit, so I can use it as gash material. -- Dave GS850x2 XS650 SE6a Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the river cleaned out in a day. |
