Well, yes and no. I think Ch4 has just decided to sink NYPD Blue, having made viewers wait two bloody years between series. They actually seem to be doing it with all their "big" imports - ER, Six Feet Under and Frasier all seem to have been dumped into late slots this season. Bastards. The only hope is that Ch5 buy them... -- Snowleopard >^..^< And the morals that they worship will be gone |

Whether this is true of C4, I don't know, but certainly there are various new series that start off on BBC3 before they make it to BBC2 as it encourages people to switch to digital. You may find that ER, NYPDB etc. are being moved to E4 for the same reason. -- Chris ZX-9R (in green, obviously) BOTAFOT#51 |

It must be similar reasons in that people may be encouraged to sit through something they wouldn't normally watch to wait for something that they do want to watch. It's all about getting more exposure. I mean, I haven't seen any of Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, and probably wouldn't go out of my way to, but if it preceeded something that I did want to see then there's every chance I may catch the end. If it intrigues then I may well watch the next episode. Sticking the mainstream shows on after will mean there's a greater chance of the more obscure stuff being seen. -- Chris ZX-9R (in green, obviously) BOTAFOT#51 |

Unfortunatly not, if they did I would be happy as they normally have multiple days they screen on -- XJR1300SP, XJ900F, GSX750W, GS550, GSX250 POTM#1(KoTL), WUSS#1 , YTC#1(bar), OSOS#2(KoTL) , DS#3 , IbW#18 ,Apostle#8 "The internet is a huge and diverse community and not every one is friendly" http://www.ytc1.co.uk There *is* an alternative! http://www.openoffice.org/ |
