As much as I suspect I should be in the Village People I cant bring myself
to sell the Drifter , so a garage re-evaluation exercise is currently underway. This fine machine is ideally suited to a colour blind person with no friends to point and laugh. Its a 1994 Yamaha XJ900F with 60K on the clock. It has a delightful mismatch of body panels coupled with a red tinted screen and grips , the true beauty of which can be seen here: http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/8043/dscn0071fr6.jpg Amazingly everything except the brake light works , and it starts first time after a week of standing outside in the monsoon. I even rode it home from the sellers house . The successful purchaser can even ride it home to a pre booked mot which will prove that the tyres are crap and the head bearings need replacing. It wont even matter if you fall off as the tank is pre dented to save you the hassle. The expired MOT and Tax will look lovely framed. It was going to be brush painted matt black and used as my winter hack - its yours for what I paid for it - £285.It comes with 2 boxes of used spares which may make lovely paperweights plus for some strange reason 2 spare wheels with even crappier tyres. Please form an orderly queue outside my house in Farnham , Surrey. Steve -- 1936 BSA B18 , 1979 Guzzi T4 1994 XJ900F , 1994 R1100GS For Sale 1999 VN800 Drifter For Sale 2002 Boxer Cup Replika |
