No. They've got a decent reputation, which they've had for decades.

In fact, the original Mr Fowler only died fairly recently. He was in
his 90s as I recall.

Seems like customers are #1

I purchased stuff there, just some spares and small clothing items when
I came to collect my bike from the UK. They had my address in France at
that point.

Next thing I know I've got a new hat, new keyring and some magazines
mailed to my french address for a while.

They were spot on.

Pete.

Not from a sales point of view and parts are pretty good too, but a top tip
if you use them for servicing/repairs: Get a quote for the work in advance.
ALWAYS check the bill and always query anything that looks slightly amiss. I
think the service department has a tendancy to be a little enthusiatic about
the sundry items that get added on. In all the time I took my bikes there, I
don't think I ever paid the first price I was given!

In conclusion it would almost certainly be my first port of call for another
bike, unless I was in Devon. Then I would try PGH in Torquay, then Bridge at
Exeter afterwards.
