I seem to have lost the ability to connect to the net on the kids PC.
The main PC is fine as is my wireless laptop connection but the one in the Den, despite showing all the signs of a healthy network connection refuses to allow a browser to see the web. Help me! |

Ok can you 'ping' anything from that PC? run > cmd > ping www.google.co.uk for example? Is there a firewall? Try turning that off. Is the browser configured to use a proxy server? Well you can put it back on but you need to set it to allow internet explorer (or whatever browser you are using) in the exceptions settings. HTH -- /Simon |
