I'm planning my first ever jaunt to France in a couple of weeks. I have been
reading my insurance and I cant work out if I'm insured or not, does anybody have any ideas? Also, when my bikes on a ferry do I need to take something to tie it down with? Thanks Barn CB500, DT125lc, C50 "It can't be a crime if its catered" Niles Crane |

Barney Gumble was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:

AFAIK it's a legal requirement that your UK insurance provides the minimum level of cover required in other EU countries and probably Switzerland. You should find a clause to that effect if you stare at the small print long and hard enough. If not, call your inswearance. > Also, when my bikes on a ferry do I need to take something to tie it > down with? Probably not, but if your booking far enough in advance then I'd consider using the tunnel - far more convenient. -- Timo Geusch Morini Corsaro 125 | Bimota YB7 | Honda Pan European ABS/CBS/TCS BOTAFOF #33 TWA#10 The UKRM FAQ: http://www.ukrm.net/faq/ukrmfaq1.html |

But that's me. I do agree with the post commenting on the metal deck being a tad slippy though. |
