really want to visit EOSM today.
trouble is, i had a new chain and sprockets fitted yesterday, and the dozy git in the garage has broken one of the wheel adjuster plates. he has replaced it with a big washer and says it will be fine until *I* buy a new one. i just don't know whether to risk the journey or not. anyone got a spare one? it's for a xj600s diversion. -- Dave XJ600s |

I'm sure your 'mechanic' will have done the spindle up good and tight to compensate for the lack of positive location, and with it being the offside, the power train won't be putting it under much stress. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "Dave Eades" <davegee2001@btinternet.com> saying something like: >trouble is, i had a new chain and sprockets fitted yesterday, and the dozy >git in the garage has broken one of the wheel adjuster plates.
